The Girl Who Walks The Walk

Ritz-Carlton Hotel is located in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia being a contestant Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 2 penthouse, the contestants met Host and Judges Nadya Hutagalung for the first time. Nadya introduced herself and give information about this competition. Joey Mead King and Catwalk Coach Adam Williams told the contestants, they will meet the first challenge and that is Water Catwalk.

Wearing clothes designed by Gloria Mok, the contestants were asked to walk on a narrow strip of a glass submerged in the pool and retaining the glamour and confident attitude. Most of the models struggle, especially Katarina, who is the only girl who fell into the pool. Jessie is fear of water. The judges watched them from the crowd. Most contestants receive positive comments from Adam Williams.

After returning home, Nicole received news that his grandmother had died. Despite feeling sad, she remains strong and decided to stay in the competition. Elektra quickly alienated by the other contestants, because they feel Elektra are looking for attention.

The contestants arrived to the set for their first photo shoot. Before starting the photoshoot, Nadya revealed that there would be an elimination based on the performances during the runway challenge and on each girls' overall potential. Jessie was too afraid of water and unprofessional, finally eliminated.

The remaining contestants met the photographer and judges, Mike Rosenthal. Wearing clothes designed by the Red henna, each model was allotted of ten frames to be the opening title of this cycle. Sheena, Josephine, Thao, Janice, Jodilly and Tia are some girls who receive positive comments from Mike for to be confidence and creative. Tia praised for bringing energy and lively personality during the shoot, while Adam felt Poojaa lack of energy. Bona and Natalie strive to provide the best angle. Nicole struggled with his pose, and failed to improve her unique edgy look.

In the first elimination, Tia, Sheena, and Josephine became the top three slots in outgoing calls. Jodilly and Thao get positive feedback from the judges as well, making them the fourth and fifth position, while other models get with a mixed reaction from the judges. Elektra, Natalie and Nicole, was criticized for failing to give expression to the face. Nicole is the first model that declared safe after landing in the bottom three along with Elektra and Natalie. Natalie finally survived and Elektra was eliminated.
